Artistic minds Joe & Milena Natale used their flamboyant taste in décor and passion for dining, to create Rambutan - The sought after venue for Sydney's discerning and underground jet-set chic fashion crowd. Rambutan's aesthetically stunning interior has the feel of a private dinner party meets an awards after party.. Missoni fringing and fabrics line the walls downstairs, and create the perfect frame for the freshwater fish tank. The amber-lit bench and bronzed bamboo Florence Broadhurst wallpaper upstairs creates an impact on entry that is warm and welcoming (that is if you don't sneak through the back VIP entrance downstairs).

Tasting Menu
The perfect compliment to your cocktail is a nibble from one of Rambutan's mouth-watering selections from the tasting menu. The Thai steamed dumplings with prawn and chicken in plum sauce are delicious, and the jasmine tea smoked quail with roasted garlic and black pepper sauce' is one of the most popular menu items.
Grab a friend and drop in after work on a weeknight and ease into the Rambutan experience. A glass of your favourite wine, or a delicious cocktail accompanied by Rambutan style 'Asian tapas'.
From as little as $30 per person there is a five course-tasting menu to be devoured…
The food is a dazzling array of southern Thai specialities such as vegetarian curry puffs with sweet chilli sauce; and steamed dumplings of chicken, prawn and sweet corn topped with a plum sauce. Intimate functions, after parties, dining experiences and birthdays have been hosted for local and International guests including The Veronicas, Richard Branson, Jennifer Hawkins, The Alice Cooper Band and Super rock group 'KISS', all of whom are welcomed through the VIP back entrance.
Rambutan takes pride in its 'cult' following of loyal regulars - who are known by name (and favourite cocktail).
